It's just an old piece of cork found floating with the tide my carving instincts tell me that perhaps a duck's inside
I'm sure it has a history of which we'll never know but with a little carving a work of art may show
Perhaps I see, in this old piece of cork a touch of my youthful past I was born in a generation of an art form that will ever last
Look above, this old piece of cork at the duck I saw inside once again he will float along this time with greater pride
